about

This album is a compilation of various folk punk covers I've made throughout the years.

Some are taken from videos, some are recorded through old macbook microphones and have way too much distortion, some are phone recordings.

I was introduced to folk punk in my second year of college, and immediately fell in love. Ramshackle Glory in Seattle was my first folk punk show, and it was incredible.

Pat the Bunny made me feel like I could actually make music and perform it, without the sense of perfectionism that came through being a classically trained singer and musical theatre performer. In some of these songs, you'll hear my voice is softer than it is now, and has a lot of vibrato to it.

This compilation is a showcase of finding my own voice through other people's music. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed digging through my old performances!

Happy holidays, friends!
